Calm Offshore wind
Surf conditions at 6.40 a.m. on Monday 10th June 2013:
Low level cloud cover is introducing a silver sheen to the early morning light this calm and settled morning.
The surf is pretty much flat at present, a sheet of still and oilly, silver glass spreading out from the golden sand just ahead of high tide. There's the odd shin high peeler cresting ashore but only a true optimist is going to be thinking of bothering just yet.
We were all hoping for something more rideable by now but it might be a while before that happens.
Right now, it's flat!
