Show Up and Blow Up at SST Porthcawl

The Student Surf Tour will kick off for 2012/13 a Rest Bay, Porthcawl over the weekend of November 23rd-25th.

The event, which is the second year of the newly formed SST will also include the** Show Up and Blow Up** in association with Globe Europe.

The competition within a competition will reward the best manoeuvre from Saturday’s heats with a £50 bonus at the bar with Globe picking up the tab.

Competitors are automatically entered into **Show Up and Blow Up** at no extra cost with their competition entry. The SST Team will be looking out for Radical Controlled Manoeuvres in the Critical Sections of a wave with Speed, Power and Flow as well as Radical Uncontrolled Manoeuvres in the Most Hilarious part of a wave with Comedy, Gusto and Commitment.

There will be spaces for 32 Men and 32 Women in the competition, both of which are eligible for **Show Up and Blow Up**

All levels of surfer and non-surfer are welcome, lessons will be available on the day and accommodation for 3 nights is just £20!

Saturday night features an after party open to all students, and Universities from around the country are expected to attend.
