May’s Tahiti swell keeps rumbling. They say there are two sides to every story and John Duval’s response to Dave Wassel is certainly worth watching.

Whilst this spat may at first glance appear to be devoid of aloha, it raises a series of questions we see poised with increasing regularity concerning the policing of lineups. How does regulation work in practise? Who makes the rules? How are those rules enforced and who polices the police?
