FROM Dane’s Cape Canaveral opening to aerial 1080p G-Land, this is one slick little Quik flick.

In ancient times, pre-2007, if you care to remember back that far companies shot DVDs of their team riders tearing it up and flogged them to you the reader for cold hard readies.

Fast forward to 2011 and you get 25 minutes of HD action for nothing, not even a pre-roll. Less is more: branding that’s too in your face just gets your back up like those intentionally terrible insurance ads. Here the rider is the advert and the surfing does the talking.

Starring: Dane Reynolds, Craig Anderson, Jeremy Flores, Clay Marzo and Kelly Slater and featuring Mark Healey, Mikey Wright, Reef McIntosh, Ry Craike, Fred Patacchia, Dede Suryana, Leonardo Fioravanti, Jack Robinson, Kanoa Igarashi, Miky Picon, Aritz Aranburu, Matt Banting, Alain Riou.
