Island of Change

by on Friday 30th November, 2012   16998 Views

CAPE Hatteras is a barrier island off the coast of North Carolina, known for its heavy beachbreak barrels and ever-changing landscape moulded by the restless Atlantic Ocean.

Brett Barley calls Cape Hatteras home, he always has, and spends his time here getting shacked and searching out ramps amongst the sandbars, spurs and lees of his home range.

Flicking between onshore junk and heaving Carolina tubes, this edit by Jacob Vanderwork showcases a typical autumn along the shifting sands of Hatteras.
