ERIC Rebiere claims a 100 barrel working week, culminating in an epic weekender on the reef at Ericeira with Miguel Fortes, Paulo do Bairro and Jose Gregorio. You may have heard that Europe was bursting at the borders with stoked surfers last week. "It's the best week I've had in Ericeira since 1997" Said a stoked Eric Rebiere. "Maybe not as large as I've surfed it over the years but between: Coxos, Pedra Branca, Praia Grande, a secret spot and Nazare I made more than 100 barrels over the week. Even local boy and Coxos captain, Miguel Fortes told me best week of the season." The town of Ericeira on Portugal's western fringe is blessed with bountiful reefs and we're just a bit jealous we weren't there. © 2013 rebrix
