If you’re passionate about plankton, serious about sea slime and fancy getting clean and crafty with beach junk, then get down to the Downderry and Seaton Ocean Day on 29th June 2013 to embrace your emotion for the ocean and share the love for what we can only describe as our massive playground.
Presented by the people inspiring organisation, Our World is Blue, Ocean Day shall be honouring our award winning coastline by bringing together music, video, creativity and hands on fun. The local community based event will be featuring various sea-themed activities, sessions with local groups, the very best collection of art and photography, and much more for the whole family to get involved in. Fear not that the great British weather will put a stop to any joviality… the activity packed day will take place no matter what with events held inside and out. The day promises to bring together like-minded people wishing to educate and communicate the importance of taking care of our ocean, and of course with the best tea, coffee and cakes on offer all day there is no reason to no get involved and spread the word to save our sea.
