SAN JUAN, Lanzarote (Thursday, October 16, 2008) – It was a day of hope and patience at San Juan but the conditions never improved throughout the day. Surfers and officials eventually decided to give San Juan another chance and come back tomorrow Friday, October 17 at 7.30 AM (GMT+1) to possibly get Round 2 started.
SAN JUAN, Lanzarote (Wednesday, October 15, 2008) – The second day of the ASP World Qualifying Series (WQS) 6-Star Prime Santa Surf Pro saw Round 1 come to completion in decreasing wind-blown two foot (0.5 meter) waves at San Juan with seven heats only being held.
SAN JUAN, Lanzarote (Tuesday, October 14, 2008) – The Santa Surf Pro, an Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Qualifying Series (WQS) 6-Star Prime event, got underway in tricky two to three foot (0.5 to 1 meter) waves today at the famous lefthander of San Juan and sixteen heats were completed during Day 1 of competition.

MANLY BEACH, Australia (Monday, October 13, 2008) – Clean surf in the two-to-three foot (1 metre) range is pushing through at Manly today, and event organizers at the Beachley Classic have called the final day of competition on, with a champion being crowned by day’s end. The Quarterfinals are scheduled to begin at 9:15am.
