Webcam Manager (California)

This exciting role will focus exclusively on securing new locations for our US camera network, the role will be an initial 6 month contract with opportunity to extend dependent on success.


With a global audience in excess of 1.7 million unique users per month and over 500k based in the US, MSW provides an unparalleled surf forecast and media platform. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with Webcam Installations and Relationship Management. You will be a self-starter who can shape this new position to reach its full potential.

Location: Southern California

Responsibilities:

  • Working with our UK camera team to identify camera locations
  • Arrange meeting with site owners of potential Cam locations
  • Negotiate & secure Camera install locations
  • Co-ordinate equipment installations
  • Maintain an ongoing relationship with our Camera location partners
  • Monitor US Camera network performance and resolve issues

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of negotiating WebCam/CCTV install locations preferred
  • Surfing knowledge of the Californian Coastline
  • Excellent networking and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with flexibility to communicate across time zones
  • Previous experience in telephone based sales or account management
  • Proven track record of hitting targets & working to deadlines
  • Passionate about Surfing and the global Surf community
  • Extremely well organised, efficient and able to provide clear reports to a remote HQ
